“ My family and I travel to Mexicali once a month and on our way back home we always stop by this donut shop/restaurant. They have the best Menudo, Carne Asada Fries and, of course, their donuts are delicious. They also have Mexican sweet bread - yummm. The place is clean and the employees are nice. The only thing that I don't like is a regular that always seems to come in when we're there - he must be there daily because it never fails, we always see him. And he's rude, especially to the employees. They always treat him well, so I'm not sure what his deal is, lol Anyway, it's a great stop and we look forward to it. ”
“ This place is very handy for people up late or all nite. The tortas are very good, I have had several asada "bistik" tortas. Have also had potato and chorizo burrito, so good, but not good for you! The donuts are good too, and I have seen people eating menudo here. Hey- Bakersfield has a donut store that makes Chinese food, and this donut shop makes all kinds of Mexican food. It is sometimes very slow. I usually visit this place on the way out of town late nite/early morning. Try it out, you will probably like it. ”
